Before Health Can Hold

The 4 Actual Reasons Your Health Habits Don’t Last

Why despite your best efforts, you’ve haven’t been able to lose those 5kilos, get to bed earlier so you have more energy anddd build the self-trust that only comes with constant follow-through.

… & better willpower is not the answer

Does this sound familiar?

You get a whim of motivation and you’re determined this time will be different.

You do a healthy grocery shop at Woolworths, nail your chicken-veg meal prep for the week and ignore your late night choc chip cookie cravings.

You buy the new Lululemon leggings, get to the gym 2 weeks in a row and feellll the rush of energy and pride from showing up for your 6am workout.

You get off Instagram and into bed before 11pm for the first time in weeks.

And then life… lifes. Someone resigns and you get more work. You have a fight with your boyfriend. You get exhausted before you period…

So you skip one workout. You order Guzman. You stay up late watching Love Island with a block of caramel Cadbury.

And then you do it again and again.

Before you know it, this start-and-stop cycle has happened for years.

… One thing i can tell you with absolute certainty - more willpower and forcing yourself to stick to the perfect planned routine doesn’t work. If it did, it would have by now.

If what you really want is:

To confidently lie on the beach in your bikini without thinking about your fat rolls.

Pull your little black dress out the back of your closet as you get ready for a date, loving how cute you look in the mirror… & later tonight? You ask to keep those lights on for intimacy.

To easily get off instagram before 9pm and wake up with as much energy as your Cavoodle, no cups of coffee required.

You cannot keep doing the same thing and expecting a different result. & until you understand why all your Monday resets don’t work - you’ll keep relying on force and willpower and just “sticking to the plan” to change it.

This is what you learn in Before Health Can Hold - the actual, real reasons your habits can’t stick.

My workshop Before Health Can Hold is what makes the change…

What You Learn inside
Before Health Can Hold

Introduction to a New Way
of Doing Things

The focus of this training is building awareness why you haven’t been able to create health habits that hold (you can’t change what you don’t yet see or believe). It is an entire stand alone workshop.

But me being me, i’s hard to talk about why without also touching on how to shift it.

You’ll be introduced to key concepts I teach inside Health That Holds, my course on how to implement health habits in a way that works with your beliefs, your patterns, your body and your schedule (... truly, your whole life).

These two were made to complement each other:

Before Health Can Hold
is the awareness.

Health That Holds
is the action.

There’s no pressure to join HTH - this is a complete, standalone workshop.

But I’d be doing you a disservice if I didn’t show you what’s possible beyond just understanding why change has felt so hard  and what it looks like to actually build health that holds.

Before working with Sarah, I had a really rigid and toxic mindset around the gym and doing physical exercise regularly. I saw it mainly as a tool for chasing physical results driven by what I thought I should look like. It left me feeling disconnected and frustrated, like I was constantly falling short. I am normally very headstrong and can work through issues but I realised I needed extra assistance with this. What stood out immediately was how well Sarah could read me, understand the core issue and how to work through it. She picked up on things I couldn’t put into words and things started shifting quickly.

Sarah helped me change how I saw movement and the gym - no longer as punishment or a means to an image, but as something that supports my mental wellbeing and helps me feel strong and grounded. That shift made everything feel lighter and more sustainable. This was a couple of years ago and I still go to the gym regularly and have had significant physical and mental shifts. Sarah has a gift for getting straight to the core of your blocks and holding space in a way that feels both direct and deeply supportive.

Who It’s For and Who It’s NOT For

This is for…

The Woman Who

✔ You’ve tried plans and resets and you’re over starting again on Monday. You want consistent energy, to feel sexy in your own skin and health for a lifetime.

✔ You swing between all-or-nothing - going hard for weeks, then doing nothing at all

✔ You’re curious about what’s happening under the surface: nervous system, subconscious identity, self-trust.

✔ You want to feel energised and consistent without burning out or relying on force. You’re ready for something that fits your schedule, not a perfect routine.

✔ You can hold gently but no-BS type coaching. You’re open to being challenged without shame.

✔ You like the idea of awareness into action. Learn the why here, decide later if you want the how inside Health That Holds.

Who It’s Not For

✘ You’re looking for a quick reset, health challenge or fast weight loss - this isn’t that.

✘ You’re looking for a food plan, a workout program, or a list of rules to follow. This is about the unconscious blocks beneath your habits.

✘ You’re unwilling to take personal responsibility. This work holds compassion but not excuses.

You’re not open to being challenged. If hearing the truth about your patterns feels like an attack, this is not the space for you.

✘ If nervous system work, subconscious beliefs or identity reprogramming feels unnecessary or woo.

✘ You’re expecting a full how-to roadmap. This workshop is about the why. The how lives inside Health That Holds, if and when you’re ready.

The Woman Behind the Workshop

I’m Sarah Scully-Leaf, a hypnotherapist and trauma-informed breathwork & somatic practitioner, living in Bali… and someone who’s lived the exact patterns I now teach.

I was a personal trainer who left the fitness industry to become a lawyer… and in that process I couldn’t understand why I kept falling off the wagon. I knew what to do but I just couldn’t seem to keep following through. During my career as a lawyer I gained 20 kilos, stayed up till 2am, stopped moving my body, ate what I wanted (and called it intuitive eating)... and kept promising myself “next week will be different.”

This workshop is everything I wish I had back then.

Not more information. But a deeper understanding of why I was stuck - the unconscious patterns, the subconscious beliefs, my nervous system’s capacity.

Once I learned how to work with my body and subconscious, everything changed. And now, that’s what I teach.
